主要从事稀土纳米功能材料及纳米传感器领域的基础研究。近年来，作为项目负责人主持省教育厅项目和三区人才项目多项；作为项目主要成员参与国家自然科学基金及省级科研和教改课题多项。目前，以第一作者/通讯作者发表论文10多篇。
