Major Scientific Achievements
Ge Zhang specializes in the design and fabrication of novel conducting polymer materials, with applied research focusing on intelligent energy storage systems, agricultural sensing technologies, and biomedical applications. In recent years, she has secured and led 2 national-level research grants, 5 provincial-level projects, and 4 university-sponsored initiatives. To date, she has published 33 peer-reviewed papers as first/corresponding author, obtained 7 authorized invention patents, and contributed one chapter to the monograph Advanced PEDOT Thermoelectric Materials. Recognized with prestigious honors including the Jiangxi Outstanding Youth Award, university Leading Young Talent, Research Star, and Female Role Model Researcher, she has mentored 2 joint-PhD candidates and 14 graduate students (8 graduated). Notably, 6 graduates were admitted to renowned institutions (University of Macau, Xiamen University, SCUT, and DUT), 1 joined the Jiangxi Provincial Civil Service, and 4 received the highly competitive National Graduate Scholarship.
